Acerca de la Escuela / About the School:

For the first time, the Mata Los Indios school was able to give recognition to all the teachers who had taught at the school, including the current ones, and all those members of the community who had helped to build and maintain the school, among whom we find Sixto Minier who donated the grounds for the first school building, which today works as two day classes and is the home of the Neighborhood Association Meetings.

Por primera vez, la escuela de Mata Los Indios pudo darle reconocimiento a todos los maestr@s que han enseñado en la escuela, incluyendo a los que ahora enseñan allí, y a todos aquell@s miembr@s de la comunidad que de alguna forma ayudaron a construir y a mantener la escuela.  Entre ell@s se encuentra Sixto Minier, quién donó el terreno para el primer edificio de la escuela que todavía alberga dos aulas durante el día y donde se reúne la Junta de Vecinos.
